We’re helping to champion ‘Champing’

By / 23rd July, 2015 /

The Churches Conservation Trust, which is currently preserving over 340 redundant churches in the UK, has come up with a novel way of raising funds – church camping, or ‘Champing’ for short. One of their problems was the fact that most of these churches don’t have toilets. The solution is to install waterless toilets, so we have started fitting Separett Villa toilets either in spare rooms within the churches or in cabins outside where necessary. These will be installed progressively as more and more churches are offered as champing venues – see their website for more details.
